Why I love the Theatre

I love going to the theatre, the feeling you get when the show is over. The fact you know your going to be what only I could express is wow’d throughout. I’ve been going since I was very little, as I was lucky enough to have my parents take me. I remember being young seeing a ballet version of The Brontes and seeing South Korean performers on stage which could only be described as toilet roll on their head. As I’ve got older, I’ve been lucky enough to see more plays and musicals. Some of my favourites include Legally Blonde, Rock of Ages, Goodnight Mr Tom, Billy Elliot and Jersey Boys. I’m also lucky to say I’ve seen Mary Poppins on Broadway in New York. One of the most treasured memories I have.

I really miss going to the theatre, living so close to the West End I feel that it’s a missed opportunity. I currently want to go see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on stage, as a favourite vlog, blog, author, actress and singer Carrie Hope Fletcher is currently touring in the production. I would love to see her live.

Here it is another thing I love but can’t do. I just hope to change it one day, so I can report on what I’ve been to see as I truly love going to the theatre.
