How I spent celebrating my birthday in my twenties!
As I only have 55 days left of being in my twenties and my birthday be here before I know it. I thought I would reflect and say how I celebrated my birthday through my twenties.
My 20th Birthday The one I spent at Brownie camp. Spent at Brownie camp with 15 hyper brownies who didn’t want to sleep. One brownie thinking it be funny to put toothpaste in mums slippers. Then after saying goodbye to the brownies, packing up the cars and heading home. I got a call saying could I come into work that night, got surprised by having a surprise party!
My 21st Birthday – The one I spent in Disney. If you’ve read blog titled, Day 29 – 30 Day Writing Challenge you will know I spent my 21st birthday in Walt Disney World, Florida. One of the best birthdays I’ve had.
My 22nd Birthday – The one when I discovered I could drink a half yard in 19 seconds! House party in Newcastle with some close friends. Got challenged to drink a half yard, so I did and very quickly!
My 23rd Birthday – The one I spent at the theatre. I went to watch Legally Blonde in York, with Simon and Amy.
My 24th Birthday – The one when I spent it in Chester. Spent with my wonderful housemate Kate, who got me Toy Story movies, presents, cake and a night out!
My 25th Birthday – The one when I got a penguin! Went to Scarborough Sea Life centre, where I got to choose my adopted penguin.
My 26th Birthday – The one I really don’t remember. Last birthday spent in Guisborough, BBQ and lots and lots and lots of Pimms. But I did get lots of Olympic ducks that year…
My 27th Birthday – The one I spent in London. Trip to London, spent the day with mum and Sarah around London and seeing Matilda. Got to have a cheeky drink with Dad and Michelle too.
My 28th Birthday – The one when I spent it at the beach. Day on the beach, penny arcades, lemon tops and lots and lots of Gin with one of my besties.
My 29th Birthday – The one I when I tried snails. Dad and Michelle took me out to Dinner and I got to try snails for the first time, read about it here.
As my birthday is only 55 days away, it’s making me think how I will spend celebrating my birthday i my thirties. Some of these days feel like they only happened yesterday. I am now looking forward to my 30th birthday, just because I get to spend it with my nephews! However thus year I’m lucky as I’m going to North Wales for the weekend too. So turning 30 might be scary, but overall it looks to be a lot of fun!!
