Why you should take it slow!
So my last posted was titled Reasons why I joined a gym. This post is called Why you should take it slow.
I joined a gym and decided to go to classes and do a work out. I hurt myself in the most painfullest way possible. I managed to twist my pelvis out of place. I’ve hurt myself in the past with broken, cracked or fractured bones. I’ve pulled a muscle spasm in my lower back thinking it was that. After realising it was more serious by going to a chiropractor, they said I had twisted my pelvis. This resulted in my legs and hips being out of place. A lot more serious then a muscle spasm.
I feel like an idiot, as I went in all excited managed to do more damage to myself. My chiropractor said that the injury happened due to a long term injury I’ve had.
So my advice to you, whilst I am laid up, walking around in circles around my Dads island in his kitchen trying to write this blog. Be careful, check with doctors before, say and be honest with your induction on your history. Admit if you’ve done no exercise for a long time. This will help in the long term. Take it slow, ease into it, don’t go full blazing.
