I cannot believe, it’s already February, 1 month of the year has already gone. It honestly doesn’t seem like two minutes since it was Christmas / New Year period and I was not looking forward to going back to work.
I have to admit this month didn’t fly by but dragged, but guess that’s normal for everyone.
I thought I would share some of the things; food, beauty, mindfulness, film & TV and something to do.
Food. January lunchtime deals. In Windsor we have an arrange of restaurants to choose from but lunch can get expensive. Hearing that Pizza Express or Yo Sushi had a January lunchtime deals, we could beat the January blues. Pizza Express have had a £5 meal deal, which is bargain as you can get a whole pizza. Yo Sushi had their blue dishes for £2.80 with favorite dishes available on the menu including chicken katsu curry and a favorite of mine, salmon and avocado hand rolls.
Mindfulness. Bullet Journal. I’m really getting into the craze of bullet journals and started my own. I love how I can plan my blog in it, make lists of things I love, want to do etc. Apart from how it helps me put my stationary addiction to use, it also meant I could create a new board on Pinterest.
Beauty. Rimmel Wake Me Up range. Like other bloggers I am also in love with Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and concealer. Rimmel claims that this foundation eliminates signs of tiredness and fatigue with radiance pearls that illuminate the skin. I know I am late to this craze and blogging about how amazing it is. Someone who has fatigue, has an odd sleeping pattern and always has bags under my eyes this foundation is perfect for me. I also like the fact, it lasts its time, you don’t need lots when applying it to your face, stays on for the entire days.
Film & TV. Tina and Bobby and Annie Hall. ITV brought out a three part documentary about the story of Tina and Bobby Moore. I like shows like this as I really enjoyed Sherridan Smiths Cilla and Mrs Briggs, this one is similar to how they were done. I loved the clothes. Watching Pointless, you had to name a Diane Keaton movie, Michelle mentioned Annie Hall, not really seen this film, I watched it on Netflix and have watched three more times – amazing classic movie!
Something to do. Windsor Great Walk. Working in Windsor and so close to the famous Great Windsor Walk, it means you can go for a stroll. If lucky like me you can go for a walk with a friends dog and escape the office.
What were your January favourites?
