Best trip of your life…
I thought I would explain one of my favorite trips from last year. It was the three days which I spent in Dublin, Ireland for my friend Jess hen do. I’ve already explained about when I went to Guinness Factory which was absolutely amazing. Especially because you get a pint of Guinness to sup with an amazing view.
Apart from going to the Guinness Factory, arriving into Dublin we went straight to Temple bar for some food and out first Irish pint. I chose Magners, as in Ireland, you drink like the Irish.
Afterwards we went for a wander down O’Connell Street the main shopping street. Dublin is set on lots of bridges down one river. The streets were gorgeous and pretty.
The apartments we stayed in were perfect for grabbing breakfast, getting changed and sleeping. We were 20mins away from the Guinness Factory and a short walk away from some pubs and restaurants. It only costed us a maximum of €8 to get a taxi back from city centre.
Whilst there we also went Irish dancing with a company called The Irish Dance Party. We turned up to an authentic Irish pub with a massive room filled with other hens and celebrations. I have no coordination skills at all. But it was good fun.
We also ate at the oldest pub The Brazen Head which had one of the worst Irish Stews ever tasted. I didn’t like this place at all and wouldn’t recommend it.
Although my stay in Dublin was very short. I loved the city and felt safe. I would love to go back and go around some more. Visiting more places like Croke Park and museums. I would definitely go back. Especially as the Guinness tastes real.
