I cannot believe it’s now less than 2 months until the end of 2017. Like every other month it has gone quick. It’s been a fun, enjoyable, watchable month. I thought I would share 10 things which have happened this month.
Fall leaves. The more I go for a walk, the more I want to kick the autumn leaves with my feet. Though the nights are getting darker, it means that a stroll down the long walk on a night is harder to do. The chance to be out in the fresh air is perfect.
Boots. I am loving my new boots from Sainsburys my sister got me. They are super comfy, easy to walk in and look amazing this time of year. Thanks sis, I love them.
Avocado on Toast. This breakfast has come an addictable favorite breakfast. I can’t go a weekend without having one. I love pairing it with a thick sourdough bread, poached eggs and chilli flakes.
Mental Health Day. I am so pleased / proud of the response I got on Mental Health Awareness Day. Not just on my blog, but Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It makes me more inspired to write and open up more.
Strictly. Strictly Come Dancing is back on our screen, although like everyone else you wondered if it be the same with Len Goodman. Actually I am liking the new judge. I think she’s fair and can tell she knows her stuff. But I think for me the highlight of the year has been Craig’s impression of Bruno. Fab-u-lous
Lady Gaga. Since watching her documentary on Netlfix, I have listened to her music on spotify in such a different way. I have more respect for her. Read
Draculas teeth. A Halloween food item which is fun to make. I loved these. Made them this season too as a creepy Halloween gift.
Dynasty. Anyone else been watching this new series on Netflix? I love it. I was a fan of Dallas, both the original and terrible version on Channel 5. Dynasty is similar, you do see similarity with high flying business workers and click family. It’s set around a family who dad marries a younger woman who is made in charge.
Pleated skirts. I love the jumper and pleated skirts look this fashion season. Every time jumpers come back in, I get excited. I do own some pleated skirts for summer to be able to pair is perfect. I think this could be my look this season esp in work. this orange is a bargain one at £3 from TU clothing in the sale.
Halloween. I love Halloween. I love the build up with creepy movies, food, decorations and planning costumes etc. It’s been fun. I have watched hocus pocus, addams family, beetlejuice and creepy Anna. I carved a pumpkin. I ate sweets, a creepy Colin the Caterpillar, pumpkin crisps, white m&m candy corn and a vampire frappucino. Finally the day came so M&M unicorn by day and by night came out the onesie…. #noshame
Here’s my October favorites, the only thing which has annoyed me is…
